Scott Barr, owner and general manager Scott is
committed to building a team that delivers "The Ultimate
Client Experience" on each and every project. His first job
in the home improvement industry was when he was 13 years
old, and has been with Southwest Exteriors since 1990.
While exceeding our clients' expectations, Scott is also
continuously working on developing a team of leaders, who
are challenged and excited about their work. When asked what
he enjoys the most about his position as head of Southwest
Exteriors he said, "Hearing from clients that have become
raving fans of our company because of our commitment to
client satisfaction before, during, and after their
projects." In Scott's free time, he enjoys spending time with
his wife, Sherolene, and their sons, Sammy and Sawyer. His
desire is for the business to be a ministry that glorifies
God and wants to continue to support other ministries by
building a successful enterprise. |
Duane Charping
joined Southwest Exteriors in March 2006 as an Exterior
Designer. He started his career at a very young age taking
what he learned from his family's home improvement business.
He has a natural ability to create a relationship with each
and every one of his clients. Duane is very knowledgeable in
design and educates the homeowner on all their options for
their home improvement project. He has very creative
recommendations on exterior style and color combinations for
every situation. Duane is a native to Texas and has been
married to his lovely wife Tiffany for 13 years. They have
beautiful children, Duane, Alex, Lindsay and Kyle. |

joined as an Exterior Designer Southwest Exteriors in 2005
with over 13 years of experience as a siding and window
specialist. He started his career with a national retailer
in their siding and window division at the age of 22 after
attending Ohio State University. He believes in educating
each prospective client on all of their options and letting
them choose what is best for their particular needs. Scott
also has very creative recommendations on exterior style and
color combinations for every situation. Scott has lived in
Texas for 13years, and has been married to his lovely wife
Tanya since 1994. They have two wonderful children, Ethan
born in 2002 and Grace born in 2005. |
Andy Corder,
Exterior Designer, joined Southwest Exteriors in 2008 with over
12 years of experience in the home improvement industry. His
career began with a national retailer and his expertise encompasses
both interior and exterior projects, with his specialty being siding,
windows, and doors. He has many years of Sales and Sales leadership
that he acquired after graduating from Texas State University 1993 with
a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Management and Marketing.
Andy has a beautiful wife Nancy and 2 incredible children, Noah 9 and Emily 4.
Andy is a member of Oak Hills Country Club and is an avid golfer. In his
spare time can be found on the course pursuing his dream of one day playing
golf full time on the PGA Tour. |
Debra Nolen
started with Southwest Exteriors in 1995 as a Production
Assistant and was promoted to Production Manager in 1999.
She works closely with each client on the coating phase of
their project. Overseeing and scheduling the crews, and
meeting with clients, are just a few of the aspects of
Debra's job that keep her busy. Debra loves to meet new
clients and get to know them. She has a genuine interest in
people. Hearing from satisfied clients that have expressed
their complete satisfaction with her contributions and
Southwest Exteriors makes her job worthwhile and meaningful.
Debra has been blessed with three children: Stephanie, Gabe,
and Caleb. Debra also enjoys working with Habitat for
Humanity and Rebuilding Together in America as well as other
volunteer projects. She is a member of Community Bible
Church. |
Jim Sublousky
started with Southwest Exteriors as the Windows and Door
Manager in January 2006, bringing 27 years of experience in
both siding and windows. He works closely with clients,
informing them on all aspects of their window and door
installation. His duties include measuring, scheduling, and
managing all installation crews with great pride and
diligence. He credits his drive and determination to doing
the best job possible to his parents Command Sergeant Major
(Ret) John & Jeanne Sublousky. He also knows behind every
good man is a great woman; in his case there are three: his
lovely wife, Sherry, and daughters, Savannah, born 1992, and
Sadie, born 1994. His favorite past times are listening to
his daughters play violin in concerts and church orchestra.
He and his family attend Thousand Oaks Christian Church. |
Steven Jones
came on board with Southwest Exteriors in September 2007 and
is now our HardiePlank Production Manager. Due to his
upbringing and finish carpentry background, he prides
himself in building relationships with clients and attention
to detail on projects. He devotes himself entirely to ensure
that our clients are given the special care and attention
they deserve and communicates effectively throughout all
stages of their project. When not on the job Steven and his
wife, Jamie, are the youth pastors at North Point Church in
New Braunfels, TX and have a passion for God and their
community. |
Phillip Fields
the newest addition to the Southwest Exteriors family, leads
our new door division. Phillip graduated from Texas A&M in
1986 earning a degree in Engineering. He was the production
manager for a large manufacturing company and managed two
plants one in Houston and the other in Cibolo. After 2 years
with this company, his father-in-law, Johnnie Chuoke, asked
him to join the family lumber business. He managed the Acme
Lumber Co. for about 19 years. Phillip takes great pride in
combining style and practical design ideas in each door and
remodel project. He has been married to wife, Kim, for
21years and has a son, Mitchell, 19; son, Westin, 16; and a
daughter, Mariah, 10. Phillip enjoys spending time at the
lake watching his children perform and compete in
wakeboarding competitions and ski shows. Phillip and his
family attend Community Bible Church. |
Ryan Sterling
joined Southwest Exteriors in 2008. He has over 12 years
experience in residential remodeling and construction. Ryan
manages the service department and is determined to provide
a positive and prompt service experience. He also assists in
managing our window production crews. He enjoys working with
our clients and building a lasting relationship with them.
Ryan has three dogs: Shiloh, Scar, and Lucy; and enjoys
fishing, playing the guitar, and goes to the movies in his
spare time. He and his wife, Carol, attend Cornerstone
Church. |

Marianne Shields,
our Accounting Manager, has been with Southwest Exteriors
since 2003. Marianne has become one of our company's
greatest assets. Marianne takes care of all human resources
issues as well as all bookkeeping. She has many different
aspects to her job; you sometimes wonder how she gets it all
done, but that challenge is what she enjoys the most.
When Marianne is not taking care of the office, she enjoys
tennis, sewing, dancing, walking, and the list goes on and
on. She is Secretary of the Northern Hills Homeowners
Association along with volunteering her time to the elderly,
charities, and political campaigns. Although not a native
Texan (she was raised in Southern New Mexico) she has fallen
in love with San Antonio and will never leave. She has a
son, who is a gifted musician, living in Austin and a
daughter in New Mexico with Marianne's two grandchildren. |
Terri Toozoff,
our Bookkeeper, joined the Southwest Exteriors family in
February 2008. She has been a bookkeeper since 2001. Terri
was head of the business management department for a firm in
L.A. In 2004 she left the firm to start her own bookkeeping
business and was able to find unique clientele, stuntmen &
stuntwomen. In February 2008, her husband, Simon, was
transferred to San Antonio for work and they love it here.
Terri still maintains her stunt clientele and when she is
not working, she enjoys football, decorating, spending time
with friends, and most of all, her 1 year old son Tristan. |
Javon McKay
started with Southwest Exteriors in the spring of 2002. She
started off as a Receptionist and quickly made her way up to
the Marketing and Finance Administrator. She enjoys all
aspects of her job, from working closely with clients
financing their project, and also organizing five home shows
in San Antonio. Javon has been happily married to Jimmy
since 2005, they love to travel and spend time with friends
and family. She is currently working part-time and will
attend UT Health Science Center to become a Physical
Therapist. Javon enjoys volunteering for different
organizations such as the USO, Feeding the Homeless,
Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity. |

Ana Carranza,
our Office Administrator, became part of the Southwest
Exteriors family in October 2007. She brings more than ten
years of experience in customer service and executive
support to the company. She prides herself in providing our
clients with a positive experience that separates Southwest
Exteriors from other remodeling companies. She has been
married for eleven years to her husband, Charles, and
together have three handsome and energetic boys: Charlie,
Jr. 11, Anthony, 9, and Alex 7. Her favorite hobbies include
cooking, reading, and watching the Spurs play! She also
enjoys listening to her three gifted sons play the violin,
bass guitar, acoustic guitar, drums, and piano. Above all,
Ana enjoys cheering and supporting all three boys in their
athletic activities. She and her sons attend First Assembly
of God Church.
